Grant Benton was born in Budapest, Hungary as Zoltan Borsos.
His musical studies consisted of piano and singing. He studied piano in Hungary for a few years, which quickly revealed that the piano would be the instrument for composing music. He wrote his first songs at the age of 14.
He sang in the elementary school choir, where it became clear he wanted to take singing to a more serious level.
He studied singing in Hungary with the legendary singing teacher Olga Sík, where he attended for many years. He then continued his voice training while he was living in Los Angeles with one of the excellent teacher of the also legendary Seth Riggs.
After performing in the school choir, he first tested himself as a frontman for smaller ensembles. Later, he began an independent solo career.
He moved to Los Angeles in his early twenties, where he became a singer in smaller formations. His song “Am I The Only One” has been in radio stations around the world since 2017.
His style is the timeless and emotional adult contemporary pop music. Although he’s a versatile performer, his songs are mostly about love, relationships, and the heights and depths he lived in life.
